Bruce has had a lifetime of dedication, leading and giving to others. Achieving a rare feat was one of his most proud moments when he created a Senior Babe Ruth baseball team consisting of players aged 16-19 and took them to a championship season in their very first year of existence, a great entry year that demonstrated his commitment to the development of the youth and to sportsmanship.

Bruce, a 34-year instructor of the Union Carpenter Training Program, has been a key figure in the training and mentoring of thousands of professionals at the International Training Center in Las Vegas. His experience and leadership have contributed to the future of carpentry teaching worldwide.

Before his career as a teacher, Bruce began his professional life as a young paramedic, gaining firsthand experience in the emergency field that subsequently guided him in his mission to impart lifesaving skills. This introductory chapter established the basis of his lifelong interest in safety education and preparedness.

Bruce has also demonstrated creativity in his Halloween costume and decoration work, which appears on several pages of his story. The same ingenuity, care, and attention to detail that characterize his teaching and coaching are reflected in his designs.

Bruce Ricketson has dedicated his life to coaching championship baseball teams, and he has dedicated his life to training international trade professionals. In all these engagements, his main focus is to teach, inspire, and leave a lasting impression on every life he touches.
